You'll still get the same finish, but you won't have to layer the MAC, therefore, less streaking. Also, the shade may end up a bit deeper. The only really nice ...Ugh, I hate streaky jellies! The only really nice deep jelly polish I can think of is Skin Food's, although that might be more of a burgundy than a blood red. The formula is great, though! I know they just launched a US website this past summer, not sure how easy they are to find in your neck of the woods.
