NARS Hindu lipstick photos and swatches

Hindu is a limited edition color, and by all means it is very unique. It's plummy brown and lovely for fall!

There are tiny red micro-shimmers in it as well, it's hard to capture them on camera.

I love the sheerness of it, with such an intense color it's easy to go overboard. Hindu gives depth and deep color without looking gaudy. nice.

MAC Hello Hitty Sweet Strawberry lipglass photos & swatches

This is an adorable little treasure in my collection. I even got a back up because it's the cutest pink color that really brightens up your face.
It is pink, but it has little blue sparkles, which I think make this lipglass super unique.

NARS night porter eyeshadow photos & swatches plus smokey green slytherin EOTD

NARS night porter is any slytherin' gal's best friend. Black with green pearly shimmer, it is definitely not for those who don't like to experiment.

I mentioned in my earlier post (here) about MAC she who dares mineralized Eyeshadow (green side) being a night porter dupe. It is quite similar, but night porter is definitely darker and less shimmery.

If you read my post about NARS night series Eyeshadow, (here) you already know that the best way to wear them is wet. Just spritz your brush with some Evian facial spray and voila!

This is my smoky green slytherin EOTD, it's not the most subtle look, but if you are looking for an idea of what to wear to the new Harry Potter movie coming out next month you might be inspired ; )

Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion mascara review

Lash Blast Fusion is a combination of Cover Girl's lash blast volumizing brush and lash blast length's lengthening formula.
I did not like the regular Lash Blast (orange tube). It flaked everywhere on me.
I did not like Lash Blast Length (yellow tube) because it didn't give my lashes any volume, and the lengthening was nothing to write home about.
Lash Blast Fusion, however, is not that bad!

The spiky plastic brush:

Exactly the same brush as the original Lash Blast.

Fusion gives my lashes length and volume, without any clumps or flaking! I'm not sure how but they did something right with this formula.
I like how it defines each lash, and even if you load it on it won't clump up since the brush has all these little bristles on it.
It's not my favorite mascara, but if you are on a budget I say check it out.
It gives your lashes a nice natural full fan effect. I just like a bit more intensity to my lashes. Out of all Cover Girl mascaras I absolutely love Volume exact, and if you like a lot of length and volume I would have to recommend that one!

MAC Wrong Spell lipglass photos & swatches

Lovely color! I haven't seen a color like this from MAC ever, although it reminds me of MAC's Film Noir satin lipstick (which I love!)
It's super gothy plummy blackened brown with a little bit of golden bronze shimmer.

Application of this is super difficult. It does not like to go on smoothly. Just like Film Noir, I use this very sparingly to achieve a plummy brown lip.

NARS Sin blush photos, swatches and dupe

NARS Sin is a staple in my stash. I love this blush, it is super sexy. I also like the name.
It looks dark in the pan, and it can be dark if you put too much on, but just a little bit is great for paler skinned cool gals.

I really don't think sin would work well on warm skin tones, it would look too muddy.

Here is Sin beside it's most notorious dupe, Milani's Temptation (now discontinued, but you can get it on Ebay.)

They are super similar. Temptation has less shimmer for sure.
